Dr. Shakuntala Gawde conducted three sessions for the course P. G. Diploma in Mysticism at Department of Sanskrit, University of Mumbai. “Vedic Mysticism”, “Mysticism in Bhagavadgita” and “Mysticism in Bhakti literature” were different topics of her sessions. She discussed various facets of Vedic Mysticism like Ritual Mysticism, Nature Mysticism, Eschatological Mysticism, and Cosmological Mysticism. Mysticism of Bhagavadgita was discussed mainly with the concept of Sthitaprajna, Karmayogi and Jnanayogi. She discusses Devotional Mysticism with reference to Bhakti movement, Puranic bhakti, Narada Bhakti Sutras and Stotra Literature.
