Dr. Shakuntala Gawde presented a paper titled “Govardhana: Divine Interplay – Unveiling its Nature as the Supreme and the Devotee” at the International Conference on “Philosophy of Vaishnava Vedanta: Culture, Legacy and Traditions”, held at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, on 26–27 August 2023.
In her presentation, she explored the theological and philosophical dimensions of Govardhana, highlighting its unique position as both the Supreme and a devotee within the Vaishnava tradition.
