Dr. Shakuntala Gawde received Academisthan Teacher Award 2021 (Young Teacher’s Award category of Humanities) in the virtual presence of Prof D.P. Singh, Chairman, UGC and Dr Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, MP, Rajya Sabha (patron of the event) and Prof T.V. Kattimani, Vice Chancellor, Central Tribal University of Andhra Pradesh (chairperson of a jury panel). She received this award for her extra ordinary contribution towards teaching and research.
